Q: Where will chapters be able to turn in their entries for various awards?
I ask because there was a lot of confusion and runaround in Boston in 1992.
Q: Will there be message boards available and constructed for participants
to freely use to post notes or track each other down?
Q: Will VCRs be made available by the hotel? Will they be able to be rented?
If so, will tapes be able to be reviewed by awards committees?
I ask because in Boston, EZ's Josiah Frank Historian Award submission was on
video, and couldn't be viewed.
Q: Will we be able to attach flyers and other stuff in a nondestructive way
to our room doors? This would be necessary to make my location more clearly
known and to post other valuable info.
Q: Will someone post a schedule of convention events, including times?
If they do by next week, a lot of us can begin planning other events well in
advance.
Q: Did the hotel group all the APO rooms together? Will there be other guests
in the hotel, and if so, will their rooms be segregated from our block?
Q: What restaurants and nightclubs does the hotel have, and what events do
they have planned for New Year's eve?
Just some of many miscellaneous questions... :)
