The name of the program is Learning for Life(LFL). Learning for life has
always been open to all students, because it is run by teachers within
the school system. Whether BSA has enforced a no gays in the teachers
leading it is unclear.

Please (re)read the article. Simply restating the Nat. BSA policy on LFL
would have zero chance of getting United Way to resume funding. There
would have to be a fundamental change. Also if the story was completely
wrong, National BSA would have denied it completely rather than
redirecting inquiries to the local council.
