On behalf of Alpha Delta Rho (chartered on December 27, 1996 at National
Convention), I would like to express just how much fun we had at
convention. We had 15 brothers (give or take a few) attend and had a
blast. What a way to begin our brotherhood then to be a part of a
National Convention only hours after becoming active. In fact, within
only 48 hours of being chartered, we had 6 of our brothers, including
myself, become life members. (Sorry about that pie, Teri! We had to do
it!)
We are looking forward to the many years to come with Alpha Phi Omega. I
think I can speak for everyone when I say that it has become a HUGE part
of our lives!
I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for attending the
"alternative entertainment" events at National Convention, including the
Mega-Monster Twister Game, Game Show Night, and best of all, Karaoke. Our
entire chapter spent hours upon hours planning these events, and I would
like to publicly acknowledge their achievements.
And a final thank you...to all those brothers who attended our chartering
ceremony. You really made it special for all of us.
On a personal note, I would really like to hear from ALL of the Service
Vice Presidents out there. Hopefully you can give us some ideas on future
service projects, and who knows, we might actually have an idea or two for
you!
