I spoke to several people in Region V who were interested in pushing
Pittsburgh for 2000. That makes Pitt and Philly the ideas I have heard...
any others?
At the Region III meeting we talked about it, but no specific sites were
put forward... we haven't even set regionals yet! It was agreed that if
someone wants to put in a bid for 2000, groundwork should be done before
regionals (in late Oct/early Nov) and the region will consider it there
(the implication being that as a region we would support only one bid).
