there. I think I am OK with the software,
and have his permission. What do y'inz think?

If you are willing to run the software, I would be fine with that. I
can't, however, commit to maintaining the software. If you can get
things set up to do the mailing list, I'll be happy to add the
appropriate mail aliases.
