Just talking amoung the brothers in my chapter (Drexel), we have some
preliminaries.
Philadelphia 2000!!!!
Within 2 hours of 5 International Airports (Philly, Baltimore, Newark,
Atlantic City, and Lehigh Valley) not including New York City
Top rate mass transit system (to which we can get special rates)
Major Train Debots/ bus terminals
Hotel and Convention Center connected by an indoor concourse in a very
happening
downtown.
Liberty Bell
Independance Hall
Gettsyburg (a little bit of a drive)
Valley Forge
Brandywine
Princeton
Plenty of strong local chapters (at least 15 within an hour and more on the way)
Lafayette!!! (one hour away)
bus trip to Atlantic City
South Street (lots of specialty shops and eating establishments)
Bars (out the wazoo)
Delaware Ave (plenty of night clubs)
Times Square (New York is fairly close and excessible by mass transit)
Mummers (we plan to have a few mummers in garb for the presentation)
Franklin Institute (as in Ben)
Art Museum (free on Sunday)
Camdon Aqaurium
Zoo (America's first)
Fire works at Penns Landing
Plenty of all night eating establishments
etc...
