The best way to get people to come to rushes is recruiting. Get your
brothers to talk to friends, classmates, etc. and try to get them to rush.
The reason I pledged in Fall 1996 here at Plattsburgh is because of two
brothers who introduced me to APO. They talked to me and answered any
questions I had about APO, sometimes til 2am or later in the morning. I
know that the majority of my pledge class were recruited by brothers.
Posters and flyers work ok, but the personal touch works better. Tables
are good to becasue it makes you visible on campus. Speaking of visibility
, try holding more service projects on campus for the benefit of the
students and the community. When people see you trying to make a
difference on campus, you will have a better chance of recruiting them.
