Brothers,
On behalf of Region V, I am pleased to welcome the Theta Beta Chapter at
Cleveland State University as an active chapter in Alpha Phi Omega.
The ceremony to initiate the chapter's 19 rechartering members and 7
advisors, was held January 19, 1997 at Mather Mansion, on the campus of
Cleveland State University. On hand to make the event memorable for the
chapter and to help with the activation ceremony and observe presentation of
the charter were nearly 50 actives and alumni from across the region.
Many thanks are due to the members of the Theta Beta Chapter, the chapter
advisors, the members of the neighboring chapters, the Region V staff, the
Section 59 staff, the area alumni volunteers and those who attended the
initiation and chartering ceremony. Without the help and support of each of
these groups the event would have never come to pass.
