How much money has been allegedly mishandled?  I ask this because, depending
on the amount, it may be worthwhile to press charges, or at least look into
pressing these charges (embezzlement, theft by deception, grand theft, etc.)

Brothers are brothers, but when a brother violates a trust like this, I say
nail his (or her) ass to the wall!
