I have been thinking about setting up an Alpha Phi Omega Database of
names with email addresses. The listing would include:
name:email:homepage:date intiated:chapter number:chapter name:school
The listing would allow users to update their information automatically
through the use a username/password combination.
Right now, I need ideas on how to set it up. I plan to mirror
www.alumni.net in many ways, however, I will provide password access
though .htaccess page restriction instead of forms.
I also need help setting up interfaces... ie forms for user to enter
information. I can easily build the CGI scripts and database end.
I also need to get a listing of chapter number:name:school in the
following format... with one school on each line
1:greek letters:school name
If I get some help then this should not take very long (weeks) to
accomplish. If I don't get some help then I will just put it on the
backburner till I have more initiative and time to make it happen...
perhaps sometime in the next year.
