Hey, Brothers:

I have some stuff that I want to discuss with you:

First, some good news. Despite my previous post saying that I will not be graduating, I WILL be graduating after all, albeit not with a Bachelor's in Accounting, but rather a Bachelors of General Studies degree (broken down into three concentrates: management, accounting, and economics). After much discussion with Accounting professor Steve Mellum (an alumnus of Rho Theta chapter and advisor), the Accountancy Board of Ohio, the Career and Placement Center, my advisor, and the local chapter of the Nat'l Assoc. of Black Accountants, I have decided to pursue that avenue (6 years is long enough). I dunno if I will be able to stay on APO-L after August, but you may reach me at...Well, if you wish to call me, ask via private e-mail, but I am almost DONE!!!

Second, I want to know (this may seem stupid), but in the movie "Higher Learning", there was an outdoor socializing scene, (When Ice Cube was pointing out the cultural college cliques) in the background was a guy twirling a blue and gold cane. For anyone who may know, could that dude have by chance been an A-Phi-O brother? Just curious.

Third, I would like to know if anyone can give me contacts to brothers at chapters at historically black schools and/or chapters (like Louisiana State). It can be e-mail addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses. Whether the chapter is active, a PG, or inactive is NOT important. The same holds true for chapters of other ethnicities. Why do I want this? About a year ago, I said that I wanted to write a supplemental history book about Alpha Phi Omega and how it has helped other groups, how they perform LF&S, their traditions, and their struggles (if any). Some bros have responded in opposition to the book saying that I am trying to segment the brotherhood. Not true. I am trying to display what IMHO is an underrepresented group in and all-inclusive fraternity. Please try to understand. My goal is to put in writing a bridged gap(s), not to widen. This will take years to accomplish, I know. Your contributions will be very greatly appreciated.

TAFN (That's All For Now)

Peace.
