The Johns Hopkins group is finally becoming a PG! The ceremony is Sunday,
March 9, at 3 pm in the AMR 1 Multipurpose Room. A conservative estimate
of the number of petitioners is 25, so this will be a big event! Please
come add to the fun!
Sorry for the short notice (and the crosspost!) For more info call me at
(410)254-3986 or email.

Directions to JHU from the south: From I-95 north, take exit 53 - I-395
north. Stay to the right - the freeway turns into Martin Luther King Jr.
Blvd. Go to the end of this road, staying in the center lane. MLK ends
at Howard Street - turn left onto it, and continue about 2 miles north on
Howard. After 29th Street Howard takes a wide turn to the right - take a
left off this curve, before the art museum which is also on the left.
Take an immediate right onto campus. Park along the drive or in the lot
to the left.
Directions to JHU from the north: From I-95, take the 695 Beltway west to
Towson. Take exit 25, Charles Street (MD 139), and proceed south for
about 4 miles. The street branches after Loyola College - stay to the
right, which remains Charles. Two lights after the branch is University
Parkway. Continue through this intersection, remaining to the far right
(the traffic lane will now be separated from the opposing traffic by a
grass median). Take the third right (at a signal), and go up past the art
museum - the road will fork. Take the right fork (the first street on the
right). The immediate right takes you onto campus. Park along the drive
or in the lot to the left.
Directions to the ceremony: The closest building to where you will be
parking is Shriver Hall - the first building on the right side of the
drive as you come in. Walking with this building on your right, go around
it, onto a quad. Go up the quad and up the steps at the end. You will
now be standing with the library to your right and an archway straight
ahead. Take the diagonal path, which will go past the library and across
a drive. It goes into the freshman quad. The first building on your
right in the quad is AMR 1. You will enter through the doors in the middle
of the building. The ceremony is on the first floor and we will be
milling by the door.
