I can tell you from experience that helping out with the poll-collecting
is probably one the best and easiest way of raising money while providing
service for the student body/govenment. If you're worried about
conflict of interests, we have brothers who are active and participating
as officers on the SGA Elections Board. As you stated, APO is apolitical,
we do not endorse any "ONE" candidate. You are there to do a job and that
job is to collect votes and (if applicable) count votes.

Our chapter made $511.00 just doing two days of pollwatching ($5/hr).
Another project you might want to look into is surveying the amount of
business (entries) a building might get. Find a building that is used
most often (ie. Student Union) and propose that for a nominal "proposed"
amount, you will have all entrances of the building covered and count the
amount the people entering that particular entrance from opening to
closing of the buidling. With this information, the "adminstrators" of
the building will know where the most heaviest traffic and at which hours.
They can target any advertisement in a location where it will get the
most coverage.

Sorry to run onto a tangent. Back to the original topic, try to appeal to
the "SGA Board" about their decision and try to promote your non-biased
views about campus politics.
