Got the latest edition of the Pledge Manual. Looks pretty good. Has a page
describing the international aspects of the fraternity, which is nice. But
there is still one glaring omission which I thought would have been taken
care of:
There is still no page of famous alumni.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm proud of the fact that Bill Clinton, Mark
Hatfield, Capt. James Lovell, Mike Garrett, Bob Love, and Reuben Askew (to
name a few) are brothers of Alpha Phi Omega. I would very much like our
future brothers to know that they are going down the same path as these and
other distinguished brothers. IMHO, there is no better place for pledges
(and brothers!) to learn about them than the pledge manual.
So...can someone in the know explain what happened?
