I would like to thank Sigma Sigma chapter (University of Illinois,
Chicago) and re-elected Sectional Chair Natalie Ferber for their warm
hospitality at their fun conference. The workshops were interesting,
roll call was fantastic, the service project raised money for the City
of Hope and it was good to see old friends and meet new ones. In
addition, an alderman dedicated a nearby street "Frank Reed Horton
Way" (be sure to visit the campus and look for it if you are ever in
Chicago) and Gamma Sigma at the University of Chicago was re-chartered
last Sunday. Besides the brothers from 48, in attendance were actives
from Tau Lambda (Rose-Hulman) and Zeta Epsilon (Gustavus Adolphus
University), Dave Emery (National International Relations Program
Director), John Wetherington (National Finance Director), Charlie
Zimmerman (National Membership and Extention Director), Maggie Katz
(Region VI Director), Dave O'Leary (National Scouting Relations
Coordinator), John Emley (Section 54 Chair), Mark Dearing (Section 52
Chair), alumni from APO, Philippines and supporting alums from Mu
Alpha (Georgetown University). A great time was had by all!!!
