Oh, to have free time.... Wait a few years...

The Widener Chapter had to go off-campus just to get a meeting place
in a nearby church (in exchange for a service project). The the
University bought the church and kicked us out.... That's when I
graduated and from my understanding they've had to fight for a
designated area and sometimes even store supplies--trophies, flags,
etc. at an advisors house or office.... It was really bad for a while,
I haven't had an update for a year or so now though.

If you could get Brother Bill to fund the project, the Corps of
Engineers (me) would be glad to manage the construction..... :)

I know that most of the chapters out there have an office on Campus,
usually in the student Union. And of course we are forbidden from residing
as a chapter in a "house". But is there any chapter out there which has a
dedicated building for their own use- to run it's services as well as
perhaps serve as a chapter HQ for meetings and the like?

I ask because unbeknownst to my chapter, until now, I am designing what
one or a few such buildings would look like. Who knows- perhaps the
president of RPI will like it and help us break ground in the middle of the
Library Quad! :) These designs will end up on my web page sometime later
this summer.
