I definitely think that you shouldn't give up. The last time I checked
APhiO was for everyone, if anyone feels left out there's a problem.
Jeremy's response is good, but first I'd have two questions
1) Have you talked to any of them since they've started this group?
2) Are you certain that this is not a misunderstanding?
If this action was intentional or questionable, I'd definitely follow
Jeremy's advice...
