Hello.
I just subscribed to the list and, though I have sent one or two messages,
this is the first chance I've had to introduce myself.
My name is Karen Safro (aka "the smilester"). I pledged the Psi Omega
Chapter of A Phi O in the Spring of 1993 and remained an Active Brother
there until my graduation in August 1996. I am currently the Treasurer of
the Greater Orlando Alumni Association (Shameless Plug: I encourage any
Brother who was connected with the Psi Omega Chapter or who lives in the
Central Florida area to join the GOAA --- our dues are cheap!). I work in
the Altamonte Springs area for the Institute of Internal Auditors (no, it's
not as boring as it sounds) while trying very hard to not use my degree in
Finance. I am also helping to plan the 1997 Regional Convention in Orlando,
Florida (in the heart of the attractions, minutes away from Universal
Studios, Sea World, Disney World, and many other fun spots). Okay, that
