Hello Brothers,

Just wanted to let you know that planning continues with the Chapter Program
Workshops which are starting in a little more than a month from now. If you have
not registered yet, now is the time to do so. All chapters were sent a letter,
a brochure and registration forms last month. So far, registration has been on
the slow side as the May 15 deadline approaches.

This year, the National Leadership Development Committee, working in conjunction
with each of the regions, has sited at least one CPW in each region this year.
However, if there is not sufficient attendance at a site, the plug will be
pulled at that site as the fraternity has to guarantee a certain amount of
attendees at each site for the best rates for meals and housing.

If you plan to attend, the National Office needs to know this as quickly as
possible. We will take walk-in registrations at a site, but we need to know for
sure if people are coming.

Since the last info came out, we have made a few changes.
The Region IV CPW will be at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA on July 25-27.

The Region IX CPW will be at Augustana College in Rock Island, ILL. on July 25-
27.

All other CPWs are still on as of today, May 10, 1997. However, if attendance
does not pick up, the fraternity will be forced to cancel a site.

Our goal is to reach out to every region to make the CPW experience as close
and convenient to as many brothers as possible. We hope that many of you take
advantage of this excellent leadership development opportunity.

If you have any questions, contact me at af901@dayton.wright.edu or at
erichter@journalink.com
