IF my memory doesn't fail me, dues for Nu Mu ran a little differently than
most.
At the start of the school year, money is needed to pay the national office
and school bills from the end of the last school year. So, we broker a deal
somewhat with the actives. They (actives) can $60 at the beginning of the
year and it covers the whole year (three quarters) or if they'd rather go
quarter to quarter its $25 a quarter or $75 for the year. It gives some a
break if they can afford it. But with the per quarter basis, we found that
some people decided that because of a heavy quarter load or otherwise to be
inactive there isn't a money issue like give me this amount back, etc.
