Hello! I don't usually post things. I'm more of a lurker just to gather
information, however I felt this was necessary to post this time. It seems
that we have lost the purpose here of things. The very motto of Alpha Phi
Omega is "Be a Leader, Be a Friend, Be of service". Someone posts to the
list that they require money so that they might be able to attend the last
year of their college education, and suddenly people are posting that we
should not be a friend, and not be of service to this individual. I'm not
saying to help the person, or not to help the person, but it just seems
that we're being a bit hipocritical here. If you're not going to promote
Leadership, Friendship, or Service, just don't say anything at all on the
subject. It's not worth the discussion. I hope this doesn't offend
anybody :)
