and anyone else interested in coming

What: Summer Picnic

Where: Ellacoya State Beach, Glendale NH

When: August 2 from 10am --->

Cost: bring your own food... otherwise park admission.

How to get there:

From Massachusetts:

Take I-93N to exit 20 in NH
Take US3N across laconia (stay off Business 3 -- you were warned)
Take a right onto rt 11
the park is a couple of miles down on your left.

From Presque Isle:

Take US 1 South to I-95 in Houlton
Take I-95 to exit 4 rt. 111 (in Biddeford)
take 111 west to Sanford where you want to on rt. 109 west.
(a possible shortcut is across rt. 224 but the map is not clear enough to
recommend it)
take 109 across the NH/ME border.
Left on 28 south in Wolfeboro Center.
Right on 11 N in Alton Center
Take 11 north for about 15 miles park is on your right.


From: Sherbrooke

410 west
to 55 south
to border
take I-91 south to I-93 in St. Johnsbury
take 93 south to exit 23.
take 104 east to US3
take US3 to 11b
take 11 East.
park is on your left.

From: Montreal

Autoroute Decarie east to Pont Champlain
take Autoroute 10 east for 21 KM to autoroute 35.
take 35 south to the end.
take 133 south to the border.
at the border 133 turns into I-89.
Follow directions from Burlington


From: Burlington

Take 89 south to exit 11 in NH
Take 11 East through Franklin and Laconia
the park is in the the town of Glendale. (about 35 miles on)

How to find us:
My car will be in the lot if I'm there, a black celica with Mass. Whale plates.
(Carson and Red will probably decorate my car for me so look for the car that's
got toilet paper or some other decoration on it)

What to do while we are there:
party, have fun.
There will be a brief Maine in 2000 bid committee meeting while we are there.

*our slogan since this is APO-L* "Maine in 2000 wind down the millenium
downeast."
