Maybe I was lucky the times I was in DC for the 4th ... but I drove, never
had a problem finding a space, and made it home in 30 minutes (from
downtown DC to College Park, MD)
Good thing I did drive too, because on one occaision a brother got injured
on the way to the Metro and, since the wait for an ambulance was 3 hours,
I drove him to where he could be attended to by his family.
Like I said, maybe I was just lucky :)
Have a great holiday weekend .... I'll be having fun in Richmond
