In response to Kendal Van Dyke's question (below), the Fall 1997 Pledge
Class will be named in memory of William T. Cunningham, the founder of
Focus: Hope, a humanitarian organization in Detroit, Michigan. He was
nominated by the Eta Pi Chapter at the University of Detroit Mercy and was
selected by the National Board of Directors at its July 19 meeting in
Pittsburgh. More information will be provided to all chapters from the
