Dear Brothers,
I just wanted to thank you for all of your assistance and participation in the
Chapter Program Workshops which were held at nine locations this summer. This
was the first year that each region had the opportunity to host a CPW during
the summer.
About 260 brothers registered for a CPW this summer and 220 actually attended. I
would venture to say that this has to be a record, but I can't confirm that
statistic.
I would also like to express my thanks and appreciation to those regional
directors, regional leadership development chairs, section chairs and staffs, as
well as the nine CPW directors -- Rick Bojko, Pete Fagen, Betsy Ullrich, Rick
Martin, Tanya Refshauge, Sean Stapleton, Lyndal Butler, Tony Ploughe, and
Chris Nelms -- and their site coordinators, facilitators and staffs for one
fantastic job. They provided outstanding leadership and provided a great service
to the fraternity.
I would also like to express my appreciation to Judy Wetherington and her staff
for their excellent work in February for the CPW that was held in Seattle. If
you're keeping score, add another 30 to the count above.
There are two more CPWs on tap for 1997. One is in mid-October in Sacramento, CA
and at the Region I/II Conference in December.
The first CPW for 1998 will be in February in Riverside, CA.
The tentative schedule for CPW sites and dates will be out in early September
and you'll be hearing more about it in the coming months.
Again, thanks for your support and assistance this year and I'm looking forward
to a great 1998.
