Hey y'all:)
I just wanted to write and direct this towards the large chapters
out there. My name is Erin Channell, and I'm a brother from Zeta Delta,
Miami University. Last semester after Nationals' I got together with a
brother from Univ. of Louisville and we put together a large chapter
list-serv. THis is still up and running, but short on people. If you are
an exec member, an new memeber, a pledge, or an active who just likes to
meet people, please consider joining the large chapter list-serv. It's a
great place to meet people from chapters similar to yours, and an effective
way to communicate with chapters who may be facing similar problems. There
are only 10 or 15 "large" chapters out there, with the rest being 50 or
fewer members. It's difficult then to discuss problems with someone who
knows what you face, and possible working solutions. This is a good place
to find those solutions. And while large chapters may not have the
noticable problems of a rocky rush or membership retention, probelms that
large chapters face have the ability to really tear a chapter apart before
anyone realizes whats going on. Whether you're interested in just meeting
people, or wanting to talk about specific issues like rush, elections,
membership status, social events, service projects, or risk management this
is a great way to hear what other large chapters have to say If this is

Thanks for listening to me ramble and consider what I've said. We,
our chapters, are one of the best sources of information and we need to have
