Some alumni started talking about chat rooms.
It started with my web page being in java
and it being a problem for some people with the
whole access thing. It's been debated for
two months with regards to my server. The following
idea has been presented. And offered. He has
also been looking into a domain. What do you think?
Agreed, IRC already exists. My parachat room still
exists for alumni, along with all my IRC scripts
for the web in non-java form. But this is one more
alternative to try and make communication open and fair
to all....I think he is offering web pages to brothers, too,
if funding can be found. I can't help him finance the whole
thing being a student.....but I am sure something could
be worked out with someone. My last allowed post of
the day.on all three lists. That includes one I admin, too.
I set the same rule.

Depends on what capability you require/want, and such, I have multiple
ideas and the likes...would only take a little funding to get a entire APO
chat-type room (MOO) up and running, with full web-pages for
everyone...etc....will send you stats at some future point.
