RIT and St. Bonneventure were the only bidders as there were no
bids prepared from a school in Section 88.
As it stands now, any chapter in 88 or 89 can bid on the spring
joint conferences. The fall conferences are split currently and
each section is responsible for bids from their own section for these.
In Sp '98 any chapter in 88/89 with a bid ready can vie for the Sp
'99 conference. Traditionally, 88 put on the jt Fall conferences and 89
put on the jt spring conferences. Just kinda ended up that way. But then
we (in 88/89) know what happened to that! ;>
