Dear Brother Mike,
We are the Alpha Delta Tau Chapter from Nova Southeastern University in
Sunny and Warm Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The temp ranges from 75-80 year
round and those are degrees positive Farenheit. Also, we are 15 min from
the Atlantic Ocean and 1 hour and 20 min from the Gulf of Mexico. OUr
chapter has experienced the same.. First, the SGA Const was changed
without club consent over the summer by the SChool administration, second
no club has or receive their funding, third the SGA Treasurer and Finance
Ctme wield more power than the SGA Presidnet (who is a founder/brother of
our chapter). My feelings is that a Treasurer should not have more power
than their ctme or the President. ( I am the Treasurer of ADT and PAD on
our campus). So in effect, our chapter thinks that there is a secret
movement to kill our chapter but no brother can prove this. Our sources
from various SGA positions, to brothers working at the Dean's Office,
Student Union/Bar and having brothers in other clubs and organizations.
Your best bet is to consolidate with other clubs and unite against the
school. But be careful so as to not have your charter revoke by the school
for their own personal reasons. Contact your advisors or elicit help from
notable faculty that supports APO on your campus.
