ATTENTION XI RHO ALUMNI!
The Xi Rho Alumni Association has been revived, and it is doing quite
well. The four-fold purpose of the Association is :
1. To keep Alumni in touch with Alpha Phi Omega, especially Xi
Rho.
2. To keep Xi Rho Alumni in touch with each other.
3. To help Xi Rho.
4. To have fun.
The Association is already fulfilling its purpose. "Alumni Weekend",
held this past April, was a tremendous success. The weekend included a
picnic, Association Meeting, and a semi-formal. The turn out was
fantastic. The next Alumni Weekend, April 24th - 26th, 1998, is already
being planned.
The Association paid the registration fees for two XI Rho Actives to
attend a Chapter Program Workshop, which was held in Troy, New York this
summer.
The Association also helped Xi Rho send out a mass mailing this
summer, to incoming students to the College at Oneonta, who indicated
that they were interested in community service.
The Association also had an informal picnic in Rockland County, New
York this summer. All that attended had a great time. Some great
things have already happened for the Xi Rho Alumni Association, and
there are more to come.
If you are already a member of the Association, fantastic! If you
are not a member, please consider joining. Aside from the other reasons
to join, Xi Rho currently has only three Active Brothers! Xi Rho needs
the support of its Alumni now more than ever.
