Let me add something here, too...don't get hung up on _Robert's Rules of
Order_. You're in APO to do service, be a great friend and learn some
leadership skills, which includes the use of Robert's - but just because
you don't know the ins and outs of Robert's rules doesn't mean that you
should have your hands tied by them. The purpose of any parliamentary set
of rules is to assist the group by providing a set of procedures they can
follow that they all understand - but the purpose of leading a group this
way is to get the group where it wants to go. It seems to me that if a
majority of the group wants a revote, then the leader should make it
happen (and a talented and educated chair can do that using Robert's Rules
- but few of us have enough education in that realm.)
