Another factor in the debate is the fact that the number of all-male
chapters is gradually going down. The reasons vary, but a major factor is
that there are unlikely to be any more all-male chapters started. There
are only 3 all-male schools left in the US (Wabash College[Active Chapter],
Hampden-Sydney College [no charter], & Morehouse College[Inactive Chapter]),

To the best of my knowledge there are THREE fewer all-male chapters today
than there were at this time last year. These are Theta Xi @ SLU-Parks,
which disappeared when the school merged with its main campus (which
already had a co-ed chapter); Omicron Theta @ Monmouth College, which had
its charter revoked for Hazing and Mu Eta @Albright College which went
co-ed on its own. In addition, it appears that the administration at the
Citadel in making the school co-ed had decided that all non-sport
extra-curricular activities including APO will be open to female cadets.

While having 3 less all-male chapters in one year is unusual recently,
on the average about 1 all-male chapter per year either goes co-ed or goes
inactive.

(In regards to another post, I indicated that Texas Wesleyan's chapter of
APO was co-ed, that was an error on my part.)

According to my best information, here is the list of all-male chapters.
