Logging into the History Channel website this evening, I was informed that
today is the anniversary of Rosa Parks refusing to give up her seat on a
bus in Montgomery, Alabama, igniting the civil rights movement.
42 years ago today. We've come a long way, and we have still a ways to
go, but it all started with one woman's quiet refusal to allow herself
to be treated unfairly.
Just a reminder to all of us who serve. One person can make a difference.
Never forget that.
