I'd agree with you that this is a topic of broad based interest. The
trick is how to effectively use the tools
at our disposal, without duplicate threads.
I didn't think of that while encouraging people to use the
alumni list. My concern was that some of the pledges
and actives might feel like alumni topics were dominating
the list. They do have the same right we do, however,
to post. And to subscribe to the alumni list. The trick in trying to
gently guide people is that sometimes it backfires. You don't want to
guide people into intimidating them to leave a list,
and not using their voice. I am glad to see a great
deal of alumni participation. And the alumni list is still
there as a tool for brothers to use. While it would be great
to see it used for discussion, if it is meant to happen here,
or on Soc, that's great, too. The last thing I want is
the war of the admins on L. We are all in this organization
