It isn't just UB. I've seen it done nationwide.
Chi Pi did that at the time I was there, but
I have not been to SUNY Fredonia this year to
know what anyone does up there. "NIB"
stands for "Newly Inducted Brother." I mean
Fredonia long ago was UB's big brother chapter,
but I really doubt they got that from us. -Joy
