I agree wholeheartedly with Rich Vehlow's sentiments. I would never have
maintained my activeness in APO if it was just all-male. While coming from an
all-male chapter was a great experience, if we didn't have a GSS chapter at
UMD, I think I would have went nuts. Doing service projects and social
activites with GSS adn other sororities made it fun. But APO women are the
best, hands down. Some of the strongest women I know are or were in APO. And
when it comes down to it, does it matter who does service? A male? A female?
Nope, its the effort adn time put into helping that makes the difference.
