Am I getting tired of this discussion? Yes, I am.

and Question #2:
Am I getting tired of the apathy within the Fraternity? Yes, I am.
Am I getting tired of the name-calling and accusations? Yes, I am.

These arguments have been going on since the 1960's, as far as I can
tell - before most of us were born. And part of the reason that the
argument continues, IMHO, is because there are far too many Brothers
that have the "Give it up!"/"Let it die!" attitude.

Well - the issue is not going to die until it is resolved to the
satisfaction of all parties involved. And until then, you won't really
know what the issues are about until they directly affect you. And I
hope, at that time, you will become as vocal as the rest of us regarding
these issues.

We all have different opinions. We all have different interpretations of
the rules. And the only way to resolve our differences is to
communicate, not shut down the lines of communication.

This forum was designed to be used as a means of communication, so that
we don't just talk every two years at a National Convention. It is an
ongoing forum for discussion.

Not for name-calling.
Not for accusations.
Not for offering clues.

For Discussion of Alpha Phi Omega issues.

And another question - is an issue ever really dead in the Fraternity?
You may pledge in one year - but keep in mind that throughout your
college 'career,' other pledges are pledging and have opinions to offer.
Many ideas that were discussed in Boston in 1992 will resurface in 1998
because there are 6 years of new Brothers that will have an opinion. And
6 years of experience that the 1992 Brothers have gained since
graduating.

Just something to keep in mind...
