When I was Treasurer of Alpha Beta Omega Chapter (ODU), we did a similar
project. It worked out great and usually brought in about $100 per night
(two movies per week). On some of the more popular movies shown, it would
do even better!!
It's an excellent ongoing project, but it does present a challege trying to
get brothers to continually staff the event... it's almost like a part-time
job (except you're doing it for the chapter, and not for income).
But it does serve to get your chapter's (and Alpha Phi Omega's) name out to
the campus pretty well!!
