Listening to this recent turn in the allmale debate has given me what I think
may be a great idea that could settle everything once and for all.
Honor the grandfather clause, but make it a requirement for each allmale
chapter at a co-ed school to either do a minimum amount of projects with an
existing GSS and/or OPA chapter there, or help foster the startup of at least
one of those two organizations at the school. Now women would be able to take
part in a greek-letter service organization alongside APO brothers without
violating the allmale grandfather clause held so near and dear at these APO
chapters.
I may consider writing this up as proposed legislation. Any discussion?
