I think that is the most credible statement that there are lots of females
at lots of schools that want to be a part of APhiO, and that GSS or OPhiA
isn't what they want or isn't satisfying their needs. I also remember
seeing someone at an all-male chapter say that they stayed that way because
the local GSS asked them to so they wouldn't lose all their members.
If females are willing to leave one service organization to join APhiO,
then that says to me we should give all women that choice. If GSS or
OPhiA can't sustain themselves, it shouldn't be up to us to do it for them.
And before the expected reply that "our little sisters don't want to be
Brothers", that's fine with them, they have that choice, but I'll bet that
there are females on campus who would love to be Brothers, if they found out
the possibility existed.
