pledgemasters and/or big little chairs allowed to have littles?

In my chapter (Gamma Zeta - Georgia Tech), we let our pledges choose their
bigs. They make a list of their 3 top choices and then the pledge
trainers try to match them up to their first choice. If there is more
than one pledge that chose the same brother, then we try to determine
which would be best suited with that brother and give the other pledge
their second choice. Every once in awhile, we have to go to the third
choice, but it almost never goes beyond that. Usually, both the bigs and
littles are OK with the matchup.
