Brother Bret,

According to Robert's Rules, many motions are reconsiderable, sometimes
depending on the original result. If the motion and its result allow
reconsideration, then such a motion can be made.

A motion to Reconsider:
* is in order when another has the floor;
* requires a Second;
* is debatable only if the original motion is debatable;
* is NOT amendable;
* must come from the prevailing side (except in a ballot vote);
* can be tabled;
* requires a majority vote to carry;
* is itself reconsiderable.

15 motions are reconsiderable only if voted down; only Indefinite
Postponement is reconsiderable only if carried. 18 motions are not
reconsiderable, leaving 26 motions reconsiderable no matter the result,
plus the main question.

If you really need the ugly details, email me privately.

I'll let others on the list handle the question of Inactive membership.
