This is Scooter...
I have noticed recently that several chapters are asking about various types
of fundraising projects or ideas. Some people, very important people, have
suggested that we have a list of fundraising ideas on the National Service
Page.
This is something we are considering to do, in a separate section so as not
to confuse fundraising with our Four-fold Service program.
In order to do this, that is develop a list of fundraising ideas, I will
need chapters to email me a synopsis of their successful programs, with a
contact person if available. The information should include the number of
participants, who needed to be contacted, what was the interaction with the
school, with one another, were other agencies needed, etc.. Once I get a
handful of fundraising ideas written up in a format that would be useable to
others, we will place it on the page.
Please e-mail me personally regarding your opinions about this as well as
any ideas, and put in the subject: fundraising. (so as not fill up everyone
else's mailboxes)
