Spring Break Special..... If you'll be near Long Island Saturday or
Albany, NY on Monday....
Saturday March 14th, meeting at 8:30 am at Hofstra (for directions, email
Nancy Kinirons <nancy@butterick.com>) We'll be ordering lunch most likely.
What? We're gutting a house and cleaning a yard. The house will be part
of a program called Christmas in April and given/sold cheaply to a family
in need. The house is about 10 minutes from Hofstra in Uniondale.
We really need people for this, as you can tell it's a big project. We're
trying to help out Old Westbury and Hofstra's petitioning/interest groups.
A small contingent from NYC's chapters will be there, as well as Brothers from
ADH up in Albany...
On Monday, March 16th, 9am in Earth Science Building on the U @ Albany campus,
there's a lot of work to be done cleaning/sorting/storing of weather maps
and weather related data... You don't need to know anything about the
weather to help out, but if you are interested in weather, it's a wealth of
info.
I'll pass on more details as I can get them from down south. If you are
interested in the Albany project, I'm the contact for that.
PLEASE lend a hand if you can, we're massively understaffed for both
projects.
