The Toast song first verse was written by one of the founders, but I don't
remember which. Which founder it is mentioned in brotherhood ritual. The
second verse was written by a brother from Epsilon Mu (don't remember his
name) in the 1960's. This came out becuase Epsilon Mu proposed a third
verse to the toast song in 1992 (and '94?)

I'm sure that the info on who wrote the second verse is public,
unfortunately since the only place that I've run into the information on
who wrote the first verse is the brotherhood ritual, I don't know if is
public knowledge or not. I'm inclined to say yes, but since I can't
remember it off the top of my head and I don't have access to the ritual
books where I an, it doesn't matter.

Good places to start looking. I don't believe that www.apo.org has
much in terms of APO history that isn't in the pledge manual, but if
anyone has any suggestions...

Check your brotherhood ceremony.
