This project is open to all who are interested in travel to
Albany NY. The project will begin at 9am on Monday March 16 and
run most of the day (so come late if you need to) We'll probably also
do some stuff later in the week, so if you are interested please
email me at vividhue@rpi.edu, so I dont need to post to all the lists
again.
The University at Albany is located right off Exit 2 of Route I-90 ,
where it intersect Rt 87. Upon entering the campus from the highway,
from either direction, you will most likely want to make a left turn onto
the campus ring road... Soon, on your right, you will see a fork
and a sign labled 'visitor parking' Go right at this fork and 1/2 way around
this small circle, take a right onto the flag stone area, and then a
left into visitor parking.
If you park as far to the right and forward as you can, you will
be near two buildings which run parallel to the parked cars. The
first is the Fine Arts Building, the second is the Earth Science Building.
We're going to be in the Earth Science Building, third floor, room
ES330. There's an elevator at the far end of the building for those
who'd rather not take the stairs.
What we're doing is recycling old weather maps, plus sorting and storing
more recent weather maps, to make them available to students doing research.
Currently they are scattered in piles all over the place, because there is
no room in the storage facility... A prof is comming in over spring
break to work on this, and could use the help....
If you have any questions not answered here, let me know.
  Sincerely yours
  Vivs Laliberte
