TIME IS TUNNING OUT!! DON'T BE LEFT OUT!!
I wanted to take this opportunity to invite you to attend the
second annual Alpha Phi Omega Xi Rho Alumni Association Alumni
Weekend, scheduled to be held April 24th -26th, 1998, in Oneonta,
NY. Last year's Weekend was a tremendous success, and we anticipate
the Weekend this year to be even better! All the information
about the Weekend follows this brief letter.
Please come join us for a great weekend of food. folks, and
fellowship. Individuals as well as groups are welcome ... the
more the merrier! The deadline to respond is April 3, 1998.
PLEASE NOTE: RESPONSES MUST INCLUDE ALL APPLICABLE FEES,
IN ORDER FOR THAT RESPONSE TO BE INCLUDED IN THE COUNT.If you

* Children of those attending the picnic eat at no charge, and
guests of Association Members are charged Assoc. Member fees for
all events.

FRIDAY, 4/24

If interested, meet at Boomers, in the Holiday Inn, on Oneonta's
South Side for an informal get together.
SATURDAY, 4/25
11AM - 2pm
Alumni Picnic @lower pavillion in Wilber Park (the Pavilion is
located past the tennis courts and the pool).
2pm - 3pm
Xi Rho Alum. Assoc. Business Meeting - If the weather is nice, the
mtg. will be held at the picnic site. In the case of incliment
weather, the meeting will be held on The College at Oneonta Campus,
in the Morris Complex, Rm.#104, at 2:30pm.
6pm - 11:30pm
Xi Rho Alum. Assoc. Semi-formal @Elks Lodge, Oneonta, NY
SUNDAY, 4/26
10am - Afternoon
Service Project - March of Dimes Walk-A-Thon Registration
is from 9am - 9:30am. The 6.2 mile walk begins at 10am.
PICNIC INFO.
The picnic will be held in Wilber Park, at the Lower Pavilion.
This pavilion is located in the lower part of the park, past the
tennis courts and the swimming pool. We will begin serving food at
approximately 12:00pm. Aside from food, various activities will
occur, so bring the kids.
SEMIFORMAL INFO.
The semi-formal (an adult gathering) will be held at the Elks Lodge,
at 82-86 Chestnut Street, Oneonta, NY. It is directly across the
street from Temple Beth-El.
There will be a cocktail hour from 6pm-7pm. Cold appetizers will
be served, and there will be a CASH BAR PROVIDED BY THE ELKS LODGE.*
SEMI-FORMAL DINNER BUFFET MENU*
Hand carved Roast Beef
Chicken Pacatta or Marsala served with rice pilaf
Vegitarian Ziti of Lasagna
Dessert
Plus the standard variety of side dishes
* Menu may vary due to availability of certain items.
*IN ACCORDANCE WITH NY STATE LAW, YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE TO BE
IN POSSESSION OF AND/OR CONSUME ALCOHOLIC BEVEAGES. THIS LAW WILL
BE STRICLY ENFORCED. VIOLATING NYS STATE LAW, WHICH INCLUDES
PURCHASEING AND/OR FURNISHING UNDERAGE INDIVIDUALS WITH ALCOHOLIC

March of Dimes Walk-A-Thon
This is a 6.2 mile walk that begins and end in Neawah Park, in
Oneonta, NY. Registration is from 9-9:30am in the park. The
walk begins at 10:00am. Lunch is provided for walkers after
they have completed the walk. If you are interested in walking,
indicate so on your weekend registration form. A sponsor sheet
will be mailed to you by the March of Dimes.

with 1 king size bed.
When call to make reservation, the group rate is under
"Xi Rho Alumni Association."
Reservations must be made by March 20, 1998 to recieve group rate.
After March 20th, the rooms that are being held will be released.
