THIS IS in responce to Bryan Royer's survey about elected officers in the
chapter..
Chi Omega has 60+ members in our chapter with around 15 elected
offices and two appointeed offices. Today we are going to propose an
amendment to change the V.P. Membership Chair into two seperate offices.
Instead of VPM we are going to have a V.P. Memebership (Active) and
V.P. Memvership (pledge training). The first will be incharge of all
the current actives and the second will be inccharge of all pledges. We have
faced the problem of the VPM having way too much to due even though she
has a commitee. She can recieve up to 50 phone calls a day, she has to
voice mail boxes. So we really had to do something.
It is in my opinion that a chapter can't have too many offices, I
mean don't have forty but have enough were everyone feels included. I know
that some chapters have as many as 30 offices with a membership around 200.
