This is john the one who started the MVP dicussion let me clarify the
whole vpm situation on our end and answer a few questions, others I will
email directly.

In our chapter the VPM does the entire pledge process, rush, activation,
deals with interviews, retention, and any other questions that pledges
may have.  We have a set pledge program that is set in tradition, it is
not in the by-laws.  The VPM may change, add, or delete whatever he or she
may wish, but rarly does unless a pledge has problems with a cerian section.
        In our Chapter the Service V.P. is second command.

What we want to do is make a VP Membership (active): They would deal with
all problems with retention, rush, and to help fellowship with morale of the
chapter.  They would relieve the President of a few probloms and help Fellowship
Chair with activies.

The VP Memebership (pledge):  They would deal with all pledging activeites and
pledge meetings.  They are not to be called by general members that is what
the new VPM(active) would deal with.

In our chapter all pledges are required to come to every general meeting.
