At Alpha Gamma Eta, we just separted our VPM from out pledge person. The reason we did so is out VPM is now in charge of attendence at meetings and is in charge of the status' of the brotherhood. Deals with the issue of why brothers go inactive, how to keep brothers in there active status role, and devises ways the brothers can grow as leaders and members of comminities though resume building workshops and tutoring projects. We felt the Pledges deserved someone who could devote thier full attention. The Pledge Master is in charge of running pledge meeting, and the bigs committee. the Pledge trainer is there to assist the Pledge master in grading quizes, checking service hours and other requirements also they give another option if the pledges needed to talk to someone. also it's another leadership position.
Granted we haven't seen these in action as of yet, but we feel these changes will help our chapter become closer and to grow as leaders and active brothers.
here is the rest of the break down of positions: (e-board in order of rank and postions they appoint)

Pres - S@A, Parlimentarian, Webmaster
VPS
VPM - Rush Coordinatoor, Alumni Secretary
VPF - Formals Chair
Treasurer - Special Fundraiser
Pledge Master - Pledge Trainer
Secretary - Corresponding Sec, Historian.

-Tom Salter
